Northside Church has many groups designed to help in a variety of ways.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” – John 14:13-14

Prayer Support

Prayer has always been a big part of who Northside is, because prayer is of vital importance to every Christian. Prayer is the way we connect with God, but we must do more than just connect. We must praise, petition, and intercede in the midst of our prayer. At this time in our history, the world needs God and prayer more than ever before. Let us not grow weary of going to the Lord with our praise and requests.

Homebound Visitation Team

Our Homebound Visitation team makes scheduled visits to those in our church family who are not able to get out and attend church. The individuals who are a part of this important ministry team make visits as their schedules allow – some once a week, some once a month. If you are interested in being a part of this team, contact Daphne Moses in the church office.

Stephen Ministry

The Eyes and Ears of Jesus

We are the eyes and ears of Jesus on earth today. It is our duty and privilege as Christians to serve Christ through watching and listening to people around us, recognizing when they have needs for care. If you find someone with a need, listen and care. If you realize the need is something greater than you can provide, tell the person about our Stephen Ministry and put him or her in touch with one of our pastors. Jesus trusts us to serve as his eyes and ears on earth and to minister to those who are grieving, lonely, or in pain. Call Daphne Moses (668-0617) for more information about our Stephen Ministry.

Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart is a ministry for women that promotes friendships of love, support and guidance by allowing the women of the church seeking spiritual guidance and meaningful friendships of love and support to be mentored by a more mature woman. Contact Marsha Gaskill (664-1840), Kathy Newman (512-0839) or Daphne Moses (668-0617) for more information.

This ministry is born out of a desire to serve the community surrounding our church. We believe God has called us to become aware of the needs that exist in the community. Our prayer is that our students will not simply get help with their homework but that God will develop and nurture their faith so that they experience life to the full in Jesus.
Northside’s Mentoring Program is designed to minister PreK to 5th grade students. We aim to produce positive academic change, equip students with life skills, and create an environment of spiritual growth. This ministry is a dream come true.
